Can I use the vintage china for any event?

YES! Here at Beauteaful Occasion we believe tea parties are ideal for; any age, anytime and anywhere. We travel to your accommodation of choice (especially if you have paid for a weekend away to make the most of the accommodation)

How many people can you hire vintage china for?

No group is too small or too big and it’s our ultimate aim to make sure you all feel looked after and enjoy our event using our china. We can cater between 1 to 220 people – perfect!

How do I book?

Take a look through the website and add the desired china, accessories and packages to the basket. Once you’re in your basket, please add as much detail into the message prior to sending to help clarity for the booking, then press send! This then generates a personalised quote for you which gets sent to us at Beauteaful Occasion and we will be in touch with you to confirm! A 20% deposit is required to secure your date and payments can be made by cash, PayPal or BACS. The full balance will be required 1 calendar month before your event. In addition, a refundable damage deposit equivalent to 25% of the order value is required due to the delicate nature of the items. If items are returned in the condition that they were hired in you will receive your full 25 % deposit back. * if the cancellation has been made within 30 days prior to the event, a full refund will be returned. If the cancellation has been made less than 30 days prior to your event, 50% of the deposit paid will be returned.

Absolutely! We would love to chat through your ideas and how we can help you. We provide you with a free quote too.

How long is the hire period for?

All our hire quotes are for our standard 3 day hire. On the first day we will deliver. On the second day, enjoy your event! On the third day we will collect (and do the washing up!) If you wish to amend the duration of hire please let us know at booking and we will do our best to accommodate.

Do you charge for delivery?

Delivery is free within 10 miles of our base in Newton Abbot, Devon, if your venue is outside of this we charge 50p per additional mile. If your total package price is over £400 mileage is free.

What happens if I need to cancel?

We understand plans change and if they are beyond anyone’s control! If you wish to cancel your booking please let us know as soon as possible as this opens up availability for another client. If the cancellation has been made more than 30 days prior to the event you will receive a full refund. If the cancellation has been made less than 30 days prior to your event only 50% of the deposit will be returned.

Will I get matching or mix matched vintage china sets?

We do have some matching sets but over the years this is becoming increasingly difficult to source! We will do our best to accommodate your needs. At booking please let us know of any styles, colours, themes and we will do our up most best to provide you with this.

Do you offer to set up the vintage china or table styling?

Of course! We offer both of these! We offer a consultation and will happily set up and style the tables. You’ll find more details in our table styling and set up package. We have worked in the hospitality sector for many years and have helped set up numerous events! Although we are not professional stylists, we are always proud of our work and create spaces we would be delighted with.

I want a theme for my event, can you help?

Absolutely! We love helping out with a theme! Just let us know at booking.

What happens if something breaks?

This happens! Please don’t worry! But we wish that you will kindly tell us, keep the pieces and we will charge you the cost to replace the items. You’ll find the details in our terms and conditions.

Do I need to wash the china and linen before collection?

NO! This is a free service we provide! We like washing up and this is the last thing you want to be doing after an amazing event. We kindly ask you to ensure there is no food or liquid on the items before they are packed away ready to collect.

Do you have public liability insurance?

Yes we do, for yours and our safety. If your venue requires a copy we will happily send you a copy.
